Voodoonauts is an Afrofuturist Summer Workshop and community space for Black SFF writers. Co-founded by two Black Femme MFA students, Yvette Lisa Ndlovu and Shingai Njeri Kagunda, Voodoonauts is a generative writing workshop that is free for Black writers and will continue to be so. Drawing from other Black-centered collective writing spaces, our goal is to create a community similar to Cave Canem but for SFF writers. Our inaugural Workshop will be held July 31st- August 1st, 2020.
